What the job includes
- Inspection of the space. We go in with lights and moisture meters and check the framing, subfloor, sheathing, insulation, and any vapour barrier.
- Containment in tight spots. Even a crawl space gets sealed off from the rest of the house so spores do not ride the air currents upstairs.
- HEPA vacuuming and treatment. We HEPA-vacuum the wood, clean what needs it, and apply an antimicrobial to the framing and sheathing.
- Insulation removal. Grown-over batt insulation and torn vapour barrier come out and get bagged. Clean rigid surfaces usually stay.

Why Boulder crawl spaces grow mold

Basement mold in finished Front Range homes
